Reclaim Your Mind: How to Break the Loop of Negative Thoughts

Step 1: Identify the Lie

Not every thought you have is true.
Not every emotion is fact.

Thoughts like:

• God doesn’t have a plan for me
  
  
• Nothing ever works out for me
  
  

These are lies.
And if you let them stay, they’ll shape your mindset, your emotions, and your entire life.

So call them out.
Label them as what they are: worldly lies that do NOT come from God.

Step 2: Replace the Lie with God’s Truth

Don’t just try to ignore the lie—replace it.
Here are some swaps straight from Scripture:

❌ “I’m not good enough.”
✅ “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” – Psalm 139:14

❌ “Nothing ever works out for me.”
✅ “God is working all things together for my good.” – Romans 8:28

❌ “I feel lost.”
✅ “The Lord establishes my steps.” – Proverbs 16:9

❌ “I’ll never be successful.”
✅ “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” – Proverbs 16:3

❌ “God doesn’t have a plan for me.”
✅ “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord…” – Jeremiah 29:11

Step 3: Repeat the Truth Until It Becomes Default

Truth needs repetition.
You don’t just say it once—you say it until you believe it.

• Write it down.
• Speak it out loud.
• Pray it daily.

Rewire your mind with God’s truth—until it becomes your automatic response.
